i keep seeing the numbers 666 is it good or bad?

The number 666 was a referrence to the Roman Emperor Nero and given to him by the early Christians as a sign of his second coming within their own lifetime. This resurrection would bring the end to their newfound religion and - unfortunately - bring about all of their deaths, altering the world also. Naturally this resurrection did not occur (or we would have all heard about it and our world would indeed be vastly different than it is now) so there is nothing to fear in seeing the number 666 or it's existence in any way.

The number 6 stands for love, 6 represents the planet venus in astrology, and the planet of venus, as been tied in many a religion to love. So the numer 666 is in fact a good omen, the number 666 is not evil. The only thing that can make somthing evil, is yourself.

Unless you believe in the supernatural, it's just probability:

Let's say 500 million people a day buy something from a store. Around...2 million of those people are going to get exactly $6.66 in change. Out of those 2 million, 10,000 are going to be given a phone number with the digits "666" in it.

Simple probability explains why this is happening - you're unlikely to see the number "666" multiples times per day, but it's not unheard of.

although 666 is a number associated with the devil, this sign can only be good or bad if you let it be. Most likely you are just looking out for the number 666 because you know it is the mark of the beast, and just freaking yourself out. jus chill and calm down. It will only bother you if you let it. Try looking out for the number 777 if that helps

Beats me, besides they recently found out that the dead sea scrolls say 616 not 666. Just a typo from ancient hand me down scrolls Like the other guy said its because your looking for the number that it shows up all the time. If you were looking for the number 723 all the time it would pop up a lot. Same reason when your reading a news paper words like Xbox 360 and Modern warfare pop up immediately but hello kitty world never does.

The number "666" is the number of a man, & it represents the beatly system of government that we now klive in today. The Air Force Base I work on has that as the prefix for all the base housing phone numbers.......does that make their phones evil??? I think not!!

In the Bible, that is supposed to be "the number of the beast", which many have taken as meaning the Devil. The beast is not the Devil, but rather was Nero, Emperor of Rome. In the rather convoluted Hebrew numerology of the time, 666 is the number assigned to his name.

It came from Revelation in the Bible when a certain large beast of evil intent rose up out of the sea and its - or his - followers were branded with the number "666", which is supposedly Satan's number. So yes, it's bad.
