The biggest lesson I've learned in life is that I am not the center of the universe. It doesn't have to be "me first" any more. My needs, wants and desires are not the most important. I should always consider others and not have to have everything my way.

At what age? I was about 45 before I fully comprehended this important lesson in life.

Time seems long when looking forward, and very brief, when looking back. The universe is neutral about you, or your survival. It is up to you to create as much value as you can in the brief time allotted.
This epiphany occurred when I was 10 and I had just survived being hit by a car going 60.

Friendship, Trust, Communication are but just a few starters you need for a lasting relationship....Didn't figure that out til I was almost 40 yrs. old.
