Both jobs are of equal interest to me and close to my home.
I need some help making a decision on which job to choose.

Both are very respected institutions. You didn't give much information beyond the institutes.
Make a list of pros and cons for each position and go with the best one. Look beyond the position you will take to where you can go with each position. Does one offer a lot of potential for future positions?
Research what each company has been doing lately and see where you would like to be.
Good Luck (and be very happy that you have the choice of two great institutions and not McDonald's and Burger King)!
