My family had a bus once when i was little and i remember being able to pull the door open.

the door is left slightly ajar for the next time the driver wants in if it is a driver controlled door like on a school bus or city tranport. it is done by not being able to push the opening lever to lock from the outside. now, one for you... who turns the light on and off on a refrigerator,lol.

i think they have a key to their bus which the pick up at the station.
