But I can't figure out the source to all this. I just can't handle it. So many things have happened recently. I desparatly want to find out what I believe, who I am. I crave a passion. Yet I don't think any of that is the source to this. I just can't handle it. I have had incredible mood swings (yesturday I was so happy I was flying- today I'm in tears) I just don't know what to do. I can't live like this- yet I don't know if I want to get out of the emotion (it is powerful). I know I sound like a drama queen- and I might be, but I think, and hope perhaps, that this is something more. I don't even know what my question is... I'm posting anyways (whats 5 points?)

... No I'm not pregnate or PMSing

Look anytime I get down i just ask myself, How do the things I'm going through compare to what other people face everyday of there lives. Others are walking outside their homes to only dodge BULLETS and BOMBS.(that's a terrifying thought) The story that puts it all in perspective for me is that of a 16 year old kid who's parents abandoned him. He was living on the streets of NY and somehow stayed in school and maintained a 4.0 GPA. The following year he Earned a full scholarship to attend CORNELL UNIVERSITY!!!! If he can do it U can be ok with not knowing what u believe. There are plenty of folks who love to have ur problems just so they can show u exactly how SOLVE them. Also if u need a good movie to watch try The Pursuit of Happiness of read the book .Other than that, get medical help. I wish u well.

Depression can do that to you. Some people might say bipolar because of the highs but with depression you can certainly be happy and then it just feels like that much further to fall from when you are up. You need a professional diagnosis though, don't take the full advice of anybody on line. The lack of cause and confusion over your sadness is one of the hallmarks of depression though. Get out of the house and go for a half hour brisk walk, even if you don't feel like it. Exercise releases feel good chemicals in your brain that can help break the cycle of depression if that is what is going on. I hope you feel better soon and I empathise, as I suffer from the same kinds of feelings sometimes.

Hey there, Let me first say that you're feelings are very normal! We all go through emotions especially when we get to the point where we are not sure if things are they way we want them to be - maybe in our love life or job life or family life (I sound like the 'Friends' song). Sometimes it seems like everything is going wrong but I just want to say that things will get better if you make an effort to make it better. Maybe you need a vacation, just some time to get away from it all or maybe you need to figure out what you REALLY want to do with your life. Does your job suck? Are your roommates getting to you? There are so many factors that could be making you feel this way. I hope things get better for you soon. Anytime I feel like this, I try to do something really productive that I like, for example, going to Barnes and noble and getting a great book, or playing with my friends little baby, or doing something new - like joining a habitat for humanity (build a home with others for the poor). Helping someone in need makes you fee good. I hope this helped.

Sounds like you are having an anxiety or panic attack or perhaps a bit of depression.

Take 3 deep breaths and relax.

Do you feel sad or like something bad is going to happen? Don't worry...this is a very common condition. You are not alone.

You need to make an appointment to see your doctor. He/she will understand completely. You are not going crazy OK.

My mother has suffered from depression & anxiety for 10 years and it is something that can be treated quite easily.

Praying is a good idea too.

Do you believe in God? Ask Him to help you - He will.

Take care and I will pray for you too.

I am so sorry you are going through such a rough time. Just have faith, and believe that one day things WILL get better. We all go through periods in our live when it seems nothing goes well. Do you have anyone to talk to, like a councilor, friend or family member that can help you out. Talk to someone, just doing that can sometimes help immensely.
You might need some help from your doctor. Sometimes it can be a Chemical-in balance in your system and only your doctor can check that out.
Good Luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

You need to find someone you trust and know personally that cares about you. This is something that answers can't do for you. Possibly if you are still living at home a parent. If you are on your own a family Dr. Don't let this go till you begin to feel you have no way out. I do think one good thing about telling someone how you really feel it helps us feel better when we share and open up. I just saw a post moments ago where a girl was freaking out with a on line friend whom she really doesn't know personally IM her saying he was going to kill himself. She was upset because she could do nothing. She had no name, address, phone number. Nothing? Find someone you know and they know and care about you as soon as you can. Evita

If you are over adolescence you are too old to do this on a regular basis.
Time and experience tell us who we are and what we are made of, not all of us have a passion, not all of us are in any way special. In adolescents it seems very important, we center ourselves on ourselves you get a bit older and no one really cares who, or what you are but your friends and family.
If you are in your teens whats happening is perfectly normal if upsetting, if you are older, or it lasts for weeks it could be signs of bipolar disorder and need to be looked at by a pro.
Confusion about self is part of growing up.

I think you may need something to be passionate about. Maybe that's what is missing and driving you crazy. I don't know if you are spiritual but pray about it and think a lot to figure out what you really like to do. It also may be a hormonal imbalance. You might need to talk to your doctor. In the meantime I will keep you in my prayers. P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens).

The answer is Jesus. He loves you more than you can ever imagine, you are His treasure no matter what you have done or will do. He created you to share His love with you and for you to love Him. He will always be there for you and He will NEVER give up on you. He gives you hope and peace that you would not believe. you can be sure that He will never let you down. He LOVES YOU and DESIRES for you to LOVE HIM. Following Him has been the best decision that I have ever made. All that you have to do is believe and be baptized. He will lead you to immeasurable joy and PEACE and He will also be with you through the hard times. If you trust Him, after you die you will live eternally with Him in heaven. Remember, He loves you and will never give up on you.

its human nature to want more out of life. we want to feel something, something that lets us know we're alive. we feel that something is missing inside us and some of us try to fill it with different things. we feel that if we can have that thing we crave it will fill us and we won't feel empty. so we search and search and until you can find something to fill that void. you feel that part of you is missing and that is where the emotions come from. honestly, you may think i'm stupid, but maybe you need to get a Bible and read it.
