is the number for around you and the letter the boob size? or what?

The number is the measurement around your chest under your breasts, rounded up to the nearest inch, then having five added if it is an odd number and four added if it is an even number. For ex. Measurement is 35, the band size will be a 40. Another ex. Measurement is 30, band size is a 34.

The letter is corresponding to the difference between the band size and breast size. Measure around the breasts across the nipple at the widest part and round up. Subtract first measurement from second measurement.

1" is an A, 2" is a B, 3" is a C.

Or you could get professionally sized at Nordstroms, Sears or JCPenneys (not victoria secret, they don't size correctly).
