do black shoes REALLY go with anything ?

Question

I have this grey dress that has a design on it with brown and silver lined flowers will it go with black shoes I don't have any silver shoes so don't wear the dress right ?

go with colors of your dress! and DO NOT DO RED SHOES like that other girl said that will look awefull!!!!!!!!!! i would go with grey if that is the main color but do not do any other colors than the colors of your dress!

Black does go with everything ! It's just if you have an outfit, lets say all summer colors, you don't want to pair black leggings, but more of a white .. you just don't want to make a soft looking outfit look harsh by adding black, but it does match everything ! But in the dress its grey but already has brown and silver flowers, so your better off with a brown or silver shoe even though black still matches, just not as well ! You can still wear it, just not the best match for the dress. good luck

i would say no black shoes with that..
but if they are the only shoes that would be "acceptable" (like classy enough) try having a black necklace or something so it doesnt look as bad..

if you have no silver shoes get a brown shoe, it will look good! but if the black is the only option, try to accessorize with black :))

wear the black shoes and bring the dress out by adding a black purse with silver on it or just a jazzy one along with a necklace and bracelet , it works all the time

never wear black with brown. fashion taboo and ugly. i think you should just go buy some cheap silver sandals. they can be worn with many things and it would be a good multi outfit item.

and black doesnt go with everything. actually it doesnt go with a lot of things. true, its a neutral color so it goes with more colors than say, brown, but not everything.

uh no to black, yes to silver flats...since the dress is sort of dark, the silver gives it the burst of color it needs .

Unless you are going for a job interview, wear whatever shoes you want. Screw outside opinions if they don't sign your paycheque.
