Yes, he is violating everything our constitution stands for. I mean what he has done is unacceptable. The judicial branch could do something about it, but since there are mostly conservatives on there, and u no how those guys love focusing power on just 1 person, like a king, and since congress is so divided by the party lines, i dont think anything can be done. We need fresh, young, worldly people in congress. sigh* Well the president has been becoming more powerful since George Washington--who thought it was going to be a modest job--but people like Andrew Jackson used it to destroy the bank, Abe Lincoln used it to free the slaves(emancipation proclamation was overstepping his power, but im not complaining), FDR did who knows what, Nixon used it to spy on people, etc. The countrys old now, and the people who govern it aren't being very smart either. U no, they say that lead might have caused the Roman empires downfall(it makes ones brain funky), well our downfall is money...politicians are one of the most corrupt people in the world, behind corperate/industrial execs...
Also, Bush scores bad on how to manage everything but i give him 10 stars for his integrety in his own belief(he believes in getting oil money in his pocket), even though i dont like him, as an liberal(constitution, not economics) and existentialist, u gotta give him credit for being headstrong but stupid...

I don't even want to get started on this subject,I will be here all nite so here is my very short answer.I think that we have been verry lucky up to this point,All it is gonna take is for Bush to declare Marshal law and we will be stripped of everything.I honestly think its gonna happen. There will probly be a staged horriable tragity that will affect thousands of people. And then out of no ware there will be foregin US trained soilders taking action all acrost America they will just tell everyone to go with them and they will be safe. They will be taken to camps where they will be told how things are gonna be from now on.And those who won't go with them will be killed or put in prision.

Bush is a megalomaniac that has done enough damage to the US in general that it will take 10 years of hard work to get back to where we were when he took over...and he did just take over...
And in answer to kim_t--I hope Hilary is elected as President so she and Bill can fix everything Bush has messed up...

Relax, Friend, nothing is being done that isn't already permitted by the Constitution. "Dubya" just has a way of playing within constitutional bounds that irks the hell out of his political opponents. Remember, it ain't braggin' if you can do it.

No, and you're an idiot - only a liberal moron would ask such a question. George W. Bush is not a very good President (I would argue because he is such a liberal) but he is NOT destroying the Constitution - that is being done through the dangerous ailment infecting the body politick that is known as liberalism.
