I'm with you. This administration has done it's leverl best to try and stip the Consitution and the Bill of Rights of it's teeth. How?By trading on the very real fear that began on 9/11.I have evry hope the people are now thouroughly fed up with this nonsense. And you;re right, accountablity seems to have gone out the window. That's why we have to be vigilant & pay attention. The powers that be in The Capitol have seemed to have forgotten one thing.THEY WORK FOR US!

Yes, he is violating everything our constitution stands for. I mean what he has done is unacceptable. The judicial branch could do something about it, but since there are mostly conservatives on there, and u no how those guys love focusing power on just 1 person, like a king, and since congress is so divided by the party lines, i dont think anything can be done. We need fresh, young, worldly people in congress. sigh* Well the president has been becoming more powerful since George Washington--who thought it was going to be a modest job--but people like Andrew Jackson used it to destroy the bank, Abe Lincoln used it to free the slaves(emancipation proclamation was overstepping his power, but im not complaining), FDR did who knows what, Nixon used it to spy on people, etc. The countrys old now, and the people who govern it aren't being very smart either. U no, they say that lead might have caused the Roman empires downfall(it makes ones brain funky), well our downfall is money...politicians are one of the most corrupt people in the world, behind corperate/industrial execs... Also, Bush scores bad on how to manage everything but i give him 10 stars for his integrety in his own belief(he believes in getting oil money in his pocket), even though i dont like him, as an liberal(constitution, not economics) and existentialist, u gotta give him credit for being headstrong but stupid...

I believe he is not capable of destroying the U.S. Constitution, but his mindset is that it is a trivial piece of paper with no power over him. He violates its requirements and intentions every day, but it will survive him and his belief that the people elect an emperor every four years.

If he doesn't get impeached it will set precedent and the next president will say Bush did it. Does it sound familiar?

You use too many capital letters, but yes, a new spirit is rising. Many of us feel it is better to impeach Cheney first. See HR 333.

Yikes, if he was guilty of all your claims, you'd sorta think he'd be up on impeachment charges. Maybe you need to kind of rethink this one........
NOTE TO YOU THUMBS-DOWNERS:
Please list SPECIFIC impeachable offenses you belive Mr. Bush to be guilty of. Then, ask yourself this: If I'm right, why hasn't the LIBERAL HOUSE impeached him, and why hasn't the LIBERAL SENATE convicted him? You are pitiful in your absence of understanding.
