Off course he has! He is the product of violations.
From dodging and ducking his military duty unlike the War Hero John Kerry to getting "selected" as the puppet President, his entire life has been all about twisting the law to benefit him.
Dubya claims an inherent power to imprison American citizens whom he has determined to be this country’s enemies without obtaining a warrant, letting them hear the charges against them, or following other safeguards against wrongful punishment guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.
Under his administration, the government has engaged in inhumane treatment of prisoners that amounts to torture, and when Congress passed legislation to ban such treatment, he declared he would simply interpret the law his own way.
Although the Constitution says treaties are the “supreme law of the land,” the president has abrogated them on his own. And then, he ordered a secret program of electronic surveillance of Americans without court warrants.
But there is something more dangerous than any of these specific abuses and usurpations, and that is the theory of inherent powers that Bush invokes to justify most of these actions and the possibility of its being effectively institutionalized by a meek Congress and, worst of all, by a deferential Supreme Court.

Destroying the Constitution? What Constitution? What Bill of Rights? There are so many laws on the Federal and State books I'm surprized we have a right to breathe. The US is so overpoliced and so many people jump at the chance to blow the wistle on someone because they got their feelings hurt that the Constitution and the Bill of rights has no meaning anymore. We did this to ourselves, with the help of lawyers and media, but we still did it. Blame bush all you want, he's just a GOP puppet.

No, he is correcting the balance of power, the congress is only one arm of our government and now that the Dem's are back in power, how short a time it took to see them try once again to seize control of the executive branch, Bush only restored what was just and right, The constitution as created by our forefathers.
Bush has done right by the American public in restoring the Executive Branch as a "serious" check against an insane and out of control congress.
God Bless George W. Bush!

G. W. Bush: Worst President Ever
http://www.alternet.org/story/22057/
Herbert Hoover may have triggered the Great Depression, but he didn't invade another nation on false pretenses, authorize torture of prisoners, or try to stack the courts.
For the record, I don't like George Bush. And I don't like most of the people who work for George Bush. So, diehard Republicans can just brush aside my remarks as so much partisan blather.
But by now I suppose very few diehard Republicans ever read what I write. So do me a favor -- e-mail this to the diehards in your family and circle of friends. Ask them to tell me why I am wrong about this:
George Bush is the worst president of the United States of America, ever. Hands down.
Another Former Devoted Republican Calling Bush 'Worse Than Hitler'

Every last person who believes in God and truth needs to come forward, speak out, and erect a barricade of peace and freedom in front of the devilish New World Order's blackened front door.
No stone can be left unturned and each of Satan's evil doors needs to be immediately exposed and opened wide, including the front doors of the White House and 10 Downing Street.
The battle has reached a critical stage, with nuclear war on the horizon, that no longer can any freedom loving man or woman afford to run and hide behind the cloak of apathy.
And for months freedom's call has been heard as thousands of average Americans have been stepping forward and speaking out against tyranny, realizing the deception, lies and mass killings of their fellow citizens can no longer be tolerated by their government and evil puppeteers behind the scenes.
But even though thousands have spoken, millions remain silent. And it is this silence that gives the New World Order the upper hand in the war to gain control of the American public's heart and soul.

The United States Constitution is subject to interpretation by all three branches of government and U.S. citizens. I do not think President Bush and his administration are destroying the Constitution; however, I do think that this administration has overstepped its executive powers because the Congress granted war powers after September 11, 2001. Aah, that fateful day!!
Both major political parties, lobbyists, and political action committees have abused the priviledges of serving the American people. Our representative government and members of Congress often give into temptation of corporate money. Corporate funded political campaigns ensure that the voice of the people is drowned out. So, the Constitution is in danger, but not by this administration alone. It faces the constant barrage of legal "loop-holing" and manipulation in order to further corporate America's agenda while leaving the average citizen to fight against continued violation of privacy rights and property rights.
President Bush is not alone in history and he is certainly not the first president to go unchecked. Lyndon Baines Johnson, Democratic president 1963-1968, lied about the Gulf of Tonkin and, basically, got away with that lie. Richard Nixon lied most of the time or was devious; he got away with much and is responsible for creating the legacy of the "imperial presidency." Jimmy Carter and the EPA overstepped its boundaries toward granting unbridled federal power on local governments to determine environmental regulations. The list goes on and on, ad infinitum. Every presidency and every Congress faces the challenge of who will be more powerful.
My observation and experience is that the American people place too much importance on the presidential elections and have given the presidency too much power. Our media is partly to blame and covers the presidential elections with greater zeal the the off year congressional and local elections. It should be the other way around. It seems like there is a cult of personality that surrounds our presidents. It is very spooky.
The "unchecked power" of both the executive and legislative branch may be brought into check with citizen activism and grassroots level planning. We can get our Congressman and woman to vote our concerns, ideals, and needs by actively participating in local meetings, writing to our congressperson, and creating our own political movement(s). This is not as impossible as most people may think. Currently, I am involved in an effort to research and present Instant Run-Off voting (IRV) to the state legislature. It is quite an involved process but once one learns the ins and outs of participation in government it slowly becomes habit or part of your political behavior.
I agree that there is a grassroot movement and that the powers that be are beginning to repsond. Power is a strange beast; once gained it can corrupt a person. People in power will do anything to keep it. But one person with unchecked power is really weak and is often reigned in so that he/she will bend to the will of the people or be removed.
As for me and the wonderful people that I work with, we are making changes at our local level and getting noticed. It is starting to shake things up so that they are "borrowing" our ideas. Let them borrow!! It is getting what we want and where we want to be; we are not wealthy and powerful, just plain folks. Therefore, I will conclude by saying lets all pull together to get Clean Elections/Public Funded Elections and an electoral system that represents a greater variety of the people and draws more voters to the polls.

Been here, and done this! It does no good to complain about this administration! We all know what crimes have been committed! All we have to do now is wait for the 2008 election, and pray a Dem gets in, and cleans up the mess Bush made! Then we can breathe, and then sit back, and listen to the Rep-Cons 'whine' for a change!

No worse than any of the rest of them in Washington. The Supreme Court destroyed the constitution long ago. Bush is just another in a long line of elites destroying America. The only good thing is we don't have Kerry The Wienie and The Pretty Boy running things.
