ooooo, as a writer myself, i am tempted to steal your idea. i think it is a good one. it could even be a fiction story loosely based on fact.
as a multi-racial person i am not offended.
i hope you do write the book.... i think the premise of it even sounds like a good movie.
PLEASE WRITE IT.
please add my email address to your address book. i am very interested even if it is years from now that you write it, i would still like to read it

I think it would make a very good novel. A few years ago I wrote a short story within a novel about such love, it was set in the past and she was a runaway slave. Native Americans and African Americans did mix quite a bit in the past so it's not far fetched. It's just not something that is very documented but I have met quite a few African Americans with Native American background. I say do a little research and be the one to write the story and maybe one day it will be that movie.
Good Luck!

I love to read romance, especially historical and indian romance. My ethnic origin is considered white and I do know I have some indian in my from my southern side of the family. To answer your question: Go for it! I have not seen a novel yet that describes your question either. I would like to read it if I seen it on a shelf. I don't know if it would catch on or not but I hope you write it and submit it. You might start a whole new trend!
Good luck!

Yes, I do. I believe that love can cross all ethnic and cultural boundaries. There is a top selling book right now by the author Zane that includes stories about love between African-Americans and Latinos. This book may not be in the same style that you have written (it is classified as erotica), nor about the same people, but your question did bring this one to mind. There is a line by the author Zane that states: "To all the lovers in the world. No matter what your skin color, passion is universal."

Working out the details to make this effective would be difficult, which may be why others haven't tried it. That does leave the field open for you, however. So sit down at that computer and give us a book!

Yes I think it would have the makings of a good book. If one could find a way to research it and find evidence to back it up. That would be even better.

any good story is worth telling so write it. now here is a word of caution.. don't leave your story telling to whatever answers you get here. This place is ok for some mild questions but it you bank your future on this website.. then you will go bankrupt. Write it.. if it is good people will buy it. good luck
