Why does C-Span cover everything Mitt Romney does?

He is being interviewed on CSpan right now and then they're going to cover a "townhall meeting" he's holding tonight.

Has the ruling elite already decided he's going to be our next president?

C-Span has the fairest coverage of the presidentail elections of all the networks on TV. Much of what they show is actually raw material, free of editing. Mitt Romney is shown along with every other candidate there is out there. I doubt his coverage is more extensive then any of the others running for president.
