I have done a lot of research online about suboxone and even gone as far as making a blog about it. My question is, Does suboxone realy work, I have a friend that is an opiate addict and I realy want to help them. I have been suggesting Suboxone now for 6 mnths but they refuse to take it. I guess from the research I have done "They are not ready to quit yet"

Can some one let me know more about this drug called Suboxone.

If you would like you can take a peek at what I have found about Suboxone so far.

yes, with appropriate counseling, suboxone works for opiate withdrawl. Attitude, support, intensive reinforcement are keys, suboxone is an effective tool in recovery. It is expensive but does not wreck your life, comparitavely with actions taken to support opiate addiction.
edit.
also used professionally to detox from methadone. Must use under professional care.
