Should woman be courteous and leave it up for the man or should the man be cautious and put it down for the woman ? Hmmm ?

why is it when a man goes to the bathroom,he can remember or think enough to put the seat down to sit, where as a woman has to fall into the toilet before she has sense enough to put the seat down. why is it women feel it is the responsibility of the man to have to put the seat down? Can they not learn how to do this simple thing.

Man should be cautious and put it down for a woman.
Have you ever gone in after a guy and been in such a hurry that you've gotten a wet butt? It almost happened to me once. Plus, I don't want the cats drinking out of the toilet.
I also think it looks more appealing when you go into a washroom and the toilet seat is down, especially if someone has gone to all the work of decorating with seat covers, etc.
Just my opinion.

At all costs!!!
There's nothing quite like getting up at 3 in the morning having to pee, you don't have to turn on the light cause your on autopilot anyway. You turn around to sit down on the toilet seat
and BAM you fall in the toilet!!! Well now your awake. It only takes but a sec to lower the seat when guys get done peeing.
I'm done now....thanks for listening. LOL

The toilet seat should be down after anyone uses it. You should close the lid and then flush. I think it's gross when people don't close the lid before flushing because of the spread of germs. Yuck! So, I really don't think it's a matter of courtesy, more like cleanliness.

The man should definitely put it down for the woman. I don't know how many toilets I've fallen into because some careless man didn't put the toilet seat down.

I've never left it up nor do I think most women have. Don't expect a man to put it down for you, although you could tell him that you'd appreciate it if he did. Explain that it's unpleasant to wake up in the night and sit down on a wet seat. I think most married men have "been trained" to be considerate. Think of it as "training."

And I leave it down. Something in me wants to cover the space where it is designated I put my excrement.

The toilet seat belongs down...the lid as well. You don't want any more fecal matter flying out onto your toothbrushes than already does!

Men should put it down. In my opinion, I think both males and females should just close the seat and lid altogether to make things fair! :D
