1. 3*5.25*2/30 = 1.05 gallons. If paint only comes in gallon cans, you're going to have to buy two gallons, but you don't need much more than one.

2. Going back: 1990, '78, '66, '54, '42, '30, '18, '06 -- eight years of the horse in the 20th century. (And it doesn't matter whether you use the technically correct 1901-2000 or the commonly used 1900-1999.)

3. H = 61.421 + 2.31 F, F=46.8
H = 169.529 cm
H = 1.70m (it's 1.69529 which rounds up)

4. dm = decimeter, which is 1/10 of a meter. dm^3 is (1/10)^3 = (1/1,000) of a m^3.
So, 25,500 dm^3 = 25.5 m^3

5. 10000 - 3856 - (3856 - 380) = 2,668
