How ironic, I'm watching a show on PBS right now about earmarks, and low and behold, Mr. Abramoff, prisoner number so and so serving in federal penitentiary wherever and Duke Cunningham are being discussed. One person they both have in common, Mr. Delay. To me he represents all that is wrong in Washington D.C. The most corrupt, sleazy example of arrogance any party could ever hope to call its own.

Hey, no He is a fine man. Look what happened,,,, in case you didn't hear about it in your news.lol
Tom Delay won another round in Texas with the asinine law suits brought against him by Ronnie Earle.Earle needed political positioning in the district in which Tom Delay held steady. So Earle rolled up his sleeve and decided to go after Tom Delay to mark his spot. However, this back fired on Ronnie Earle and didnt win the positioning he had hoped for.Since these bogus charges,Earle has now moved to Virginia.Earle bought charges against Tom Delay for laws that don't exist and didn't exist at the time Earle made these claims.

Earle has made it a mission to destroy Tom Delay's political career but Tom keeps fighting. The liberals despised Tom Delay because he wouldn't bend over for the liberals. He was a fighter and they hated it and still do to this day.We all know how the liberals are trying their utmost to destroy this administration, investigations that lead to nothing, yet the liberals continue their attempts of getting blood from a turnip.

In the end of this mess, one can hope that Ronnie Earle will end up with the same justice Nifong has received.God Bless you Tom Delay.

Tom postpone grew to become into shameless in his catering to lobbyists and taking money and perks in substitute for political favors. postpone and the congressional Republicans paid off their ok-highway benefactors via such law because of fact the Medicare benefit plans the place coverage companies have been given paid your tax money as 'subsidies' to 'compete' with classic Medicare...to the song of $tens of millions a twelve months, and massive pharma have been given to not have any opposition in offering drugs below Medicare section D. Sending our tax money to private company benefactors grew to become into his uniqueness. i'm chuffed the sleaze is finally receiving a minimum of a few justice.

As with many poster children for a cause (or target)...Intelligent people look at the facts...not the hype..then form an informed opinion... The fact that Democrats and Liberals are finding fault with this man is proof of 2 things,,1..He did his job..and 2...Most libs are intellectually lazy...nuf said... OH...and those that make regional insults are totally showing how truly stupid (not ignorant..that's excusable) they really are.... I'm not from Texas..but I'm smart enough to know that other good people are.....

Here is a quote from him that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up (in a bad way):

"It is not the principled partisan, however obnoxious he may seem to his opponents, who degrades our public debate, but the preening, self-styled statesman who elevates compromise to a first principle . For the true statesman, Mr. Speaker, we are not defined by what they compromise, but by what they don't."

Delay took "no compromise" to a new level. His style of take no prisoners politics hurt both his party and the country. I think compromise, though not always possible, should be a first principle. Our country was founded on such compromise. For his to disdain it so strongly...I just find that very disturbing. Yet his supporters love him for it. Oh well.

It was really stupid of him to flaunt his corruption like that. Maybe all the poison that he used as an exterminator in Sugarland made him a little funny.

But I'm sure he and Abramoff will have lots of fun together in prison, though not necessarily in a gay way.

He's a disgrace to the entire humankind. A despicable character who got power through lies, deception, corruption and by arm twisting his own party members.

I have a bumper sticker on my car that reads...

Hammer Got Nailed

You should see it, it's a thing of beauty :)))

He is a disgrace to America in general and Texas in particular. Every one of those ignorant hillbillies who ever voted for him should go get themselves spayed or neutered and hang their heads in shame for all time.
