Your identity was a something you constructed. You changed. Change back or accept who you are at this moment. It is entirely up to you. The notion that we are a static identity that exists through time is someone childish. No offense. What I mean by this is that each decade of our life produces changes to our identity as we grow in various areas of our life.
Mourn who you were, accept you are, and be amazed at what you will become.

school I have not, and for what it is worth, this,
in a child's heart are many things, some grand , some fantasy
we will know if this child has hope , when and only when tears are from joy or sorrow and not birth.
It is in this a path begins, time is the only identity you will bare.
