i don't have a lot of faith in simms, you need a cool head at qb. garcia can provide that.

this a no brainer? Coach Chucky (Gruden) is smart enough to know to go with Garcia and let Simms develop into a system.. he's got Cadillac back there and Alstott.. a good solid D so if he can work Simms in he'll be as good as his old man was in that Giants Uni.. if he rushes him in.. he'll struggle for a while and might not make it due to injuries... Garcia is the field general they need to march that offense on the ground with safe passing plays to build up some offensive power

If they dont pick up culpepper which is an option it will be chriss simms. They have allready said that garcia is a back up. They want to build simms to be a franchize player, but if he fails like 6 weeks into the season they will probally replace him with garcia. I think simms is capable of improving. It runs in his genes and he had a couple of big games before he got injured last season.

jeff garcia will be ineffective and chris simms will play better, just look back at the last 2-3 years and u can see that they changed starting QBs of week 1
