So Fresh So Clean forgot about the maximum annual contribution to IRAs of any sort. After contributing to my church, I would change careers. The interest on that amount would be more than my current income. That would allow me to take enough time off to go back to school and qualify for the career I want.

10% to the church ($100,000) remaining $900,000- Roth IRA, $100,000 in HSBC account, $100,000 in an ING Orange Direct savings account, Vanguard Total Stock Index Fund, Growth Stock Mutual Fund, Value Stock Mutual Fund, International Stock Mutual Fund, High yield money market fund, Grade A Bond funds. With the remaining $500,000 or so, I would pay off my student debt, buy a REITs, and probably a bunch of high yield CDs and a money market fund.
