How heavy is the bleeding? Spotting can be very very normal (as well as cramps and dizziness/faintness) during early pregnancy. Anything that is resembling a period or heavier is very troubling.

But honestly, at this point, even if you are having a miscarriage, there is nothing that can be done to stop it, and there is no reason to be hospitalized for it unless the uterus doesn't completely evacuate all of the products of the pregnancy. All you can do at this point is wait it out, as frustrating as it is. Try to relax, and stay positive.

You could be having a miscarriage. It would be easier if you confide in someone to support you emotionally during this time since your boyfriend is away, or until you can confirm what is going on Monday. You don't necessarily have to be in hospital but if you do miscarry it's a good idea to follow up with your doctor.

You need to go to the emergency room and have them do a blood test to check your levels.
Cramping and bleeding usually equal miscarriage but not always.
At this point you can see the heartbeat and they can do an ultrasound. Demand it, dont leave until they do it and check your beta count.

first off you should of went to the doctor right off.. at the first sign of bleeding.
More than likely you've miscarried. When you return to the hospital, they will run tests and maybe even preform a D&C to remove anything left behind .. incase of infections.

you have every right to be nervous... you could have an ectopic... you need to go back to the hospital and demand they do further testing!!

First of all...

You should have stayed. You could have bled to death.
