We give one only to US Citizens. When we turn legal age we apply, and is given free of charge.

What we need is a Social Security card with a photo on it.

Not a knew card or database. That would be the cheapest simplest method. Then you run the numbers and faces and
you round up all illegals and kick them out. I mean escort them back to their home country.

What good is a Social Security card with no photo.
Of course government people want to invent another bureau to track this. Less Government the better.

I don't know about a National card. I do support a PHOTO ID that would only be available after proving US citizenship.

That's right make the govt. turn into Big Brother(1984 for the young ones) before it's time. We're doing just fine with elections with computers and new technical advances. Just go register to VOTE!!

Sure.... and let's charge about $100,000 each so only very wealthy people will be able to vote. Then we can quit pretending we have a functional democracy in this country.

We should be required to pass a test on the government and it should be part of the driver's exam. That way,if you drive, you can vote. Then every 5 years they should have to take a quiz on the government to keep their license. This could be done online.

There could also be a non-driver's version of the test for people who do not drive.

The dems would never go for it. That would prevent illegals from voting and they would NEVER win again!

Oh...yes we should have one!
