As a married man the correct way to go about things is:
Let your wife say what she wants as long as you can do as you want. This is were male selective deafeness comes in a woman rarely being right but not lnowing it

It does mean that sometimes a man has too excercise his vocal chords and that is what he is doing, he can then get a word in edgeways particularly if there is more than one woman in the household
