What shoes should I wear with a denim pencil skirt?

Question

I have a denim pencil skirt that goes just above the knees with a red wrap around shirt (for a reunion at a bar). Could I wear this with tan peep-toe platforms? If not, what shoes do you recommend?

Since u r going to a bar, I would do something a little funky with shoes. I love this combination, it might dont make sense to you, but once u put it onand a great attitude it will come together.

I don't think denim skirts are cool, I see lots of young women with them, But they seem kind of 80ish, You know with the jean jacket and the jeans, jeans are getting kind of lame, That is why I go with the whole granola mountain equipment co-op look, well I am also a climber so I guess that is why I dress that way, Hey you could do the whole granola look! It's really hot and you would be more likely to meet good people, Cause climbers are usually pretty nice, Well think about it. Everyone your age is doing the whole short denim skirt thing, It's old and lame, try the granola look. Not many people do it, and it's hot, so ha.

My suggestion would be to either wear black pumps (pointy toe), or some amazing red heels..just make sure the reds dont clash with each other. Those shoes would work to, but I suggest wearing the black ones instead of tan.

yes the tan shoes are nice but choose something classy and sexy to wow the crowd its always fun to be exciting but make sure its a comfortable sexy so your feet arent killing you
