Does Nuvaring cause heavier bleeding and worse cramps??

Ever since I switched from the pill to nuvaring, my cramps have gone back to being horrible (like they were when I was young) and my flow is much heavier....Has anyone experienced this and is it bad???

I have a friend that tried the NuvaRing for one of her medical problems and she had a horrible time with cramping as well. I don't remember what her periods were like. What made this especially frustrating is that this product is lower in dosage than the pill she was on before.

I got very concerned for her when the doctor decided to have her try this because of a very complicated medical history.

I would recommend letting your doctor know what's going to see what they say.
