Yep, and the thickness may change through the cycle.

if it is offensive in smell or colour then u may have a sti, if you are sexually intimate. Or thrush

Some people do, unfortunately I am one of them.
I am 41 years old and I still have it. In fact, I wear those little panty shields everyday. They atleast make me feel cleaner.
If this is something new to you, then you might want to have it checked out by your doctor.
But some of us just have this.
Alot of times when women are ovulating that's when they will get a discharge, but some of us have it all of the time.
But if you have any burning when you pee or any other discomfort, then it should be checked out also.

Good luck

And by the way GUYS, can't you read?

Hi Sky,
I've answered u before. My fear is if u r using a tampon, r simultaneously getting yeast infections. In Canada we r prescribed
1 pill & it's gone. Is it coloured, an odour, r u
panties soiled? I think that it's time to see a GYN, as if it's on going as u say, it may well
be more than a Yeast Infection, more like a stuborne infection that'll require blood work & an internal examination by GYN. It may very well not be yeast, but something other?
Let's just hope for the best, & it can clear up
with a simple med u need O.K? For time being, save r panties with lightdays.

Some discharge is normal, but if it's in large amounts or has a foul odor you could have an infection. You should prob. schedule an appointment with your gyno. to be sure. There is actually a bacterial infection which can spread via toilet seats which will cause those symptoms, but it's easily treatable with antibiotics.

Normal!

Are you on any pills? Or a shot for birth control - because that can do it. Also, have you taken antibiotics recently? They are known to affect both stomach and vaginal flora. It's not normal to have it ON your panties. That means there is too much of something. It could be something simple to treat, like an yeast infection. Now they sell tests for yeast inf. over the counter as well as the remedy (Monistat).

I forgot to mention that douching is BAD. If you do that, stop.

if you mean something white (or cream-coloured) and smooth, then, yes, it is.

anything that has a cottage cheese texture or isn't creamy white should probably be discussed with your doc (notwithstanding some of the pre-period reddish discharge that happens sometimes, like spotting)

it's most usually a sign of a yeast infection -- though the unbearable itch is usually what gives you the first hint.

ttfn!

Depends on how much and what color it is. A small amount, just some spotting on a panty liner, of clear or nearly clear is okay, but if it's a lot, has a dark color, or bad odor, then you better check with your doctor.
