what he would like is for you to build him a little four poster bed and have him a couple little mice girlfriends drop by now and then
maybe a room of his own with a heater and a few throw pillows
if you could arrange for a delivery company to bring by a couple loaves of bread and a bottle of red wine once a week
maybe have a taxi service check in on saturdays to see if he might want to go into town for a few hours
all kidding aside if the mouse is outside now i am sure he is doing just fine
and when the weather changes he has already built himself a place to hole up in
but just in case
get yourself a small bottle of peppermint oil (not extract)
put a couple drops of the oil on a cotton ball place a few of the little peppermint balls in places that would provide water ( like under a sink )
one in a couple of cabinets when the foods would be and your mouse will stay outside as he should
the peppermint oil the mouse is allergic to
and alll will be welll on both sides of the door

Water proof with a very small entrance hole and a tempting food supply (bird house?). Our house mice move in in bad weather and out again in spring. We used to watch them fighting over who got the next go on a wheel we got for them.

There are probably several mice there and you should get traps and kill them because they carry diseases. Nothing you can do will keep a mouse from wanting to come into your home. It is their nature.

you are so very sweet. they like wood piles....got a cord of wood in your yard, like i do? then get one. if neighbors ask why you have pile of wood and no fireplace (if this is the case), just say it's for when you go camping. if you tell them the truth i'm afraid some of them might start making fun of you....people just don't always understand, you know?

nothing personal...but i love you!!! thank you for being such a kind heart.
i think he'd like warmth....! but a food supply inside a structure would definitely prove inviting. perhaps you could build (if you're good at this sort of thing) a meshed-in type thing...oh, i don't know....your question is just so sweet, i can't think. cripes, pryva gets sloppy....
