America Would Be Perceived Differently-If I Am Elected President:

Senator Barack Obama said recently that if he is nominated for the presidency, and attains that position. The world will look at America very differently.

I think he has a point here. For example:

* The developing countries will expect him to be more concerned for thier economic well being.

* Latin & Central America will expect him also to be more in tune with their internal economic struggles. And the in-equality of International Trade that faces developing countries currently.

* And Black Americans who could not perceive, not cared to have a president who self-identifies as Black American. Will have to face the reality that "America is waking up" to it's responsibilities of TRUE equality of opportunity for ALL.

Agree totally with you. He is too young and doesn't think things through.

Unless Ron Paul gets the GOP nod and I think any intelligent person realizes the chances of that happening, I'll be voting for a democrat to sit in the white house. Sure it's possible for Obama to get the nomination, I think for the first time in American history it is truly possible we will have our first black person as President, but it's not going to happen this election, unless a miracle occurs and young eligible voters actually get out and vote. Even with all the talking heads saying how polarizing Hillary is, I can't see her not being the democratic candidate. Either way it should be interesting. America wants a change in government, Americans want some attention paid to America. It's time to get out of Iraq and let the chips fall where they may. It's time to take care of America again.

One thing everybody is forgetting on here is, all the elections in the past, "they all sing a pretty song, but when it comes time to sing, they don't do ****!" I've been waiting 40 yrs for a president to do what he promised, before he got elected!

America will be perceived differently, and far better, when the Clinton-Obama slate is elected. That will give him eight years to acquire the experience he lacks, meanwhile repairing the image of the US abroad. And in 2016 we can nominate and elect President Obama.
