I think most people swear and yell when it comes to the dessert but they have to do that so they don't look like porkers! You know society has the whole "thin is in" crap so if you cuss and yell before you eat it it's supposed to make it okay. It's not as if they're being forced to eat it or anything... lol

At least that's what I do. *wink*

Well-NOO! The only thing I can think of that could cause a family to do that is if you are a skinny waif and your family is trying to diet and you are sabotaging them. If that's not their reason for having a meltdown, it sounds like you should write to be guests on Dr. Phil! Gee, what WAS the dessert?!?!

Sometimes but it's always in a good way such as '**** yeah! Pudding!' Never known them to be unhappy by the prospect of desert. Sounds like there may be underlining issues beyond dessert...

Not over the dessert but over the mess i made making it. Even if its gross they don't yell at me over it. They may get mad if i put something in it they are allergic to but they never really get mad at me. I think your family has some issues with anger.
