There seems to be a certain lack of knowledge on the other side of the Atlantic about "Wellies"
So I thought that I would appeal to experts on this side to enlighten us!
Must the Wellie be clean or muddy?
Are there "under-arm" and "over-arm" restrictions?
Must the thrower be drunk?

Just thought! Is Patron St: St Swithin?

Hi Christine, nice answer .Will loo up who Cristine is.
BTW What's a Dwyl?
As you're in the ME , is it an Oil Dwyl?
OMG Vince! Is there no limit to your talents???
I'm suprised nobody's ever put a Wellie in the hand of the "Discobulus" statue.

Think it's a bit misty in the rule department. Personal experience is always underarm and being drunk is almost mandatory. Usually the judge has to be totally rat faced. Patron: St Dunlop.

At last another Wellie Boot thrower! I have tried to get the students at my institute (in the Middle East) interested in Wellie Boot Throwing and Dwyl Donking to no avail!
Something lacking in their Psyche no doubt!
Definitely underarm and we were never drunk, thus avoiding permanent injury to the crowds....
Can I be the patron saint ? Pretty please....

Dwyl Dunking is soaking a mop , twirling it around your head and releasing, ostensibly to see how far it will go.
