$90.00 - also the cheap battery will not last as long, generally a good car battery will last 3 years, but the cheap one will not last as long.

sometimes there is no difference. i bought a sears dihard gold 1000 amp battery once for 85.00. around the same time a friend of mine bought a 1000 amp battery from an auto parts store for 60.00. those battery's didn't even last 3 years. they both acted the same way when they went out. died instantly. one of the cells failed. i did some research into it and found out the battery's were made at the same place. they were the same battery. and all the ones with 1000cold cranking amps had to have so many plates in them they made the plates thinner. so intern they failed quicker because the thin plates would break. so when you buy a battery look at how many amps and it's cycle and then buy the cheapest one within the requirements of the vehicle your putting it in. good luck

Besides the obvious, being price. The amp hour of a battery determines cost. You can get a 350 amp hour battery and 200 amp hour battery, the difference is the amount of lead plates which contribute towards the cost. The higher the amperage of the battery the more it costs!
