Try some Nike Air Uptempo Low Basketball Shoes. They aren't too expensive, look very cool, and are very comfortable and responsive. I have some of these and I love them. I play basketball a lot and these shoes have proven to be very durable. You wont regret buying these great basketball shoes.

Basketball shoes, but if you're in eighth grade, don't go and spend a lot of money on stuff like Jordans and stuff, because you're feet will grow (believe me, they will). My best suggestion would be right here:

the second lebrons, they are the best i have ever had, they have ankle support, and they are very light, i also have a pair of team jordans, that have ankle support and are even lighter than the lebron II.
