Usually they are uneducated and may not even know how to prevent pregnancies or they may not be able to afford birth control either. Lots of catholics still do not believe in birth control. Also sometimes having lots of kids makes you poor.

LoL. I was wondering that the other day this girl I know mothaer has 8 kids and I was wondering why did she keeping popping kids if she knew her finacial situation wasnt good. I think it may start with the teen pregnancy thing. I know I wont have my first child until I'm at least making 35,000 yr , and Id Im old when it happens I'll just adopt. I refyse to have a child grow up like I did.

Lower socioeconomic status generally means less education so they don't get good education on the subject. Bad home situations have girls having babies at a younger age and they are just too immature. Plus they don't always have health insurance or easy access to a dr for a birth control prescription.

It goes along with the observation that, statistcally, poor people are less educated than wealthy people. Certain socioeconomic factors also have an impact on intelligence and emotional stability, and also cultural and class norms drive behavior.

being poor doesn't mean you are uneducated,or dont know what a rubber is.just means you haven't got the funds for that late night abortion,or the night after pill,like the highly educated well off people.

Rich people can buy happiness with money - they can buy new cars, sport new girlfriends, and life a carefree live. People who have no money and no neat gadgets to keep them happy, need an extra element in their life - something to keep them going, something to keep them trying.
