he is seeing someone else and resents being with u, get a job, sue for child support, and somehow move on, life is never easy but this is something u have no control over, and the longer u stay wit him the worse its going to get. leave with your dignity, if he is chatting with her, he is probably sleeping with her too. be true to yourself, and never let anyone disrespect u like that. he is violent because he wants to be with the girl, as she makes him feel young, and with her he hasn't got the responsibility of the baby. he is immature and not worth it. god will bring someone worthy into your life once u get what is not out of your life.

As a mother, I would rather be homeless than to live with someone who was violent towards me and my child. There has to be a better option for you, even if it means living with friends, family or in a shelter until you can get back onto your feet.
You need to think about your baby and protect her at all costs!! You don't want her to grow up in a violent envirnment, seeing her mother getting beat on or thinking it's okay for a man to hit her. It's a vicious cycle that goes on for generations.
Please think of yourself and your baby and move on. There is someone out there for you that will love you & your daughter and will treat you both with the respect that you need and deserve.

Find a shelter and get out. You cannot stay with an abusive person. You and your daughter deserve more.

There is plenty of help and battered womens shelters to go to. Whether it is over or not is not even a question. You should be concerned of your childs safety not about the realtionship.

Get some training, a job and leave. He will have to pay child support, but he doesn't have to also support you. Get some job training so you don't depend on abusive jerks.
