Someone in our neighborhood once dumped a guinea pig in the middle of winter. A city worker found her and took her in for a while. There was a short story about it in the local paper and my family ended up adopting her. It's bad enough to dump a cat or dog, but a guinea pig has no chance of survival.

With a little one on my lap right now I couldn't imagine who would ever want to hurt something this adorable must be nuts! Unfortunatly there is people that don't care about another life, you just have to think of the ones you save from that horrific end.

I don't understand how some people can do it. I could never. Those kittens are beautiful. Good for you for having a heart and taking them in. How are you ever going to part with them??

This happens to my parents all the time. They live out in the country and new cats are always showing up on their property. They try to catch them and take them to a shelter. It's awful. People don't want to spend money to spay and neuter their pets or they don't realize the commitment involved when getting a new pet. You have to figure your pets are going to live 20 years, are you willing to commit to that?

dump cats no problem, done it couple of times. try living with 17 cats? Do they die hell no! brother dropped a real pest of a stray 30mls away. few days later hes meowing his head off at me for milk. they usually die from something? around here. lost 5 cats all wanted in last few weeks just totally vanished Not dumped. before that some virus or some thing killed every white cat in 20mls around about the same time, they swelled up and died vet couldn't do diddly squat. People dump their cats on our land as well.

Anyone who does something like that should be put in a forest or a desert 10 miles from any kind of civilization. If they make it back to civilization they probably wont do it again. If they don't make it back to civilization they definitely wont do it again.

No, I def. wouldn't be able to do that. I love animals, and even if I didn't love it anymore, I'd NEVER get rid of it like that, I'd make sure it was safe and had another great owner. Loves,
