Its interesting because some guys do that and then they want to watch a movie or something with their wife and she is grounded.....I just think taking away a woman's TV privileges completely is stupid..I mean I can see banning her from watching certain shows like soap operas and Desperate Housewives, but in general its kind of harsh and ends up punishing the whole family as well.

Who does this? And what woman allows it? What is she, ten?

Good grief - these people aren't old enough to be in a relationship!

No.

I am not so fond of the television.

Whereas "taking privileges away" from an adult is a ridiculous concept, people in general sit in front of the tube too much. That's why the surgeon general keeps screaming that we're all obese.

Yankees is on here 24/7. YES channel and either a live game or a game that's already been played. That I can live with.

Once, again, darlin'...adults and children. You should not be required to your Partner.

A partner should be an another Adult. You're dating girls waaaay too young for you.

What sort of woman would I be if I let my man have control of the TV. The TV is mine and he can watch what I am watching or go and watch the TV in the other room. Heaven help him if he tries to get hold of the controller as it's Mine! Mine! Mine!

I have never been 'grounded' by someone I'm in a relationship with. That is just stupid and pathetic. And if anyone DID regret it, then I wouldn't have stayed long enough to find out

Wtf?

Ok buddy, a man can't "take away" a womans "privileges".

are you seriously that screwed up?

I'm guessing you live in a trailor park or something? Where scags like you run wild?

Go get some class.

Nobody can take away an adults privileges.

And will I be sent to my room without supper too?

Oh, wait! You'll be expecting me to cook it for you then clean up after you too. Better take away my phone priviledges too, so I can't call my friends.

Yes, I just love to be treated like a child!

Um, a man has no right to control a woman; I mean if they're married they should both treat each other with equal respect...that's kind of treating her like a kid, banning her from t.v.

LOL you're kidding! If my boyfriend told me I was "banned" from watching ANYTHING, I would smack him upside the head! I'm a grown woman, for god's sake! Anyone who would put up with that needs to get a boyfriend/husband, not a FATHER.

Taking away a grown womans tv priviledges???? What decade are they living in? That definetly wouldn't happen in my house.
