I sure do! The Beatles, then the Rolling Stones, then a million groups--the Dave Clark Five, Gerry and the Pacemakers, the Hollies, etc. etc. Then American bands started to try to sound like the Brit bands.
The funny thing is, the Beatles and other British bands didn't think they were doing anything new. They thought they were only trying to sound like Elvis Presley, The Everly Bros., etc. So the whole thing was like looking through a mirror into another mirror. 8^)
I sort of lost interest in rock music when the Beatles split up. I don't think rock music has ever been as good since!

Yes I do. I remember when I first heard I want to hold your hand by the Beatles. I also like Herman's Hermits, Zombies, Them, Small faces, Rolling Stones, Dave Clark 5, Marianne Faithful, The Hollies, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas and oh so many.

Yes, I was very little, but when the Beatles debuted on the Ed Sullivan show, it was all everyone was talking about. Other groups followed, but the British influence was everywhere for years after that.
