I am a woman who agrees with you. My boyfriend of 5 years (we are both in our 40's) admitted to having had sex with another woman. Naturally, I was hurt but it wasn't the end of our relationship. Sex is sex and love is love. Two different things in my book. I've had to judge our relationship on the way he treats me, not on a stupid, drunken horny one night stand. I think most women don't think the way I do and maybe with age comes tolerance. I know what is important now and it isn't sex.

Not all women do confuse it, but if you are telling a woman that you love her to her that means it is a commitment. If you are looking to sleep with others just don't go there. Make sure your partners know up front what the situation is, that way they can decide from there if she wants to continue on. I personally don't want anyone I am involved with to be sleeping with anyone else because of the risk of some disease being brought back home to me. That would make me madder than anything. Besides when "I say I love you" that means you and only you. When I was dating I never told anyone that I loved them. That way avoided any misunderstandings. Jealously is stupid and only causes more problems, but misleading people is plain cruel.

love means that you put the other person first.. that you care about their feelings and you would never do anything in the world to hurt them , break their heart , or make them cry... you would always respect them, want to comfort them, cheer them up when they are sad, etc... that's what wedding vows are for.. they stand before God and friends and family to show their devotion to one another.. love is not a feeling.. it is a decision to stick by each other through the bad times and the good ... true love would never consider "making love" or having sex with someone else.. its SUPPOSE to be a way of expressing love to another person.. not just viewed as sex...

because if you love someone, that's when sex enters the picture. you aren't supposed to hop from bed to bed, and leave the one you love at home. it is supposed to be a special bond between two people in love. and some guys get that....just like some women don't. it isn't gender specific.

If a man said he loved me, he would show me NO respect by sleeping with someone else. And I happen to believe that mutual respect is essential for a successful relationship.

Actually many studies and men suggest that sex is the way men show their love. Its not their physical needs that need to be met in their relationship but their emotional needs.

But nice try "Queen".

No! No! No!
It's not just a matter of "jealousy". It's adultery. It's wrong in every sense of the word.
I don't think you'll find too many women who agree with you...although probably plenty of men who do.

That's not true. If someone can betray you in that way then he doesn't love the person. People seem to throw around the word "Love" like its nothing. Actions speak louder than words.

No, a man CANNOT have his cake and eat it too.
Plain & simple---if he CHEATS, he doesn't LOVE.

Humans have a BRAIN to help them overcome their animal urges. Men can put "that girl is hot & I want to do her" together with "if I do her, I will hurt my woman". If they do it anyway, VOILA! Love is not there.
Any MAN who says otherwise is an asshole and a liar.

And YOU, apparently, are the other woman, unless I miss my guess.

If a man is sleeping with someone else and telling me he loves me...that is not my kind of love...I would leave him in a heartbeat.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
