Don't accept any answers to this question. They're all wrong.

Instead of focusing on the answers, analyze the question itself. Sooner or later it will dawn on you.

The only person who can authoritatively answer it is . . . a loser who has never loved.

I think so...
I think it is important to consider a deeper meaning behind this saying. This saying is declaring or at least implying that love is a wonderful thing. For someone to never have loved at all in their entire lives would certainly seem worse than having had experienced love. I have loved and lost as well, and I feel I am better off for having loved than not having loved. I have the chance to find love again...

Unless the love was a bad one, be thankful and grateful that you have a wonderful chapter to look back on, and that you are experiencing the turning of your pages in life. Just because it ended doesn't mean that it is nessecarily a bad thing, but time to move onto the next section of your life, in a neutral way. Not good or bad, but life is just taking its course. So yes, I do believe in that.

Yes, it is. Loss is painful, but the pain lessens with time, and after a while, you will be left with just the memories of pleasant times, which you would not have if you hadn't loved.

Loss is temporary, but memories of love are forever.

I would say no, simply due to the pain of losing someone whether it be family or a significant other. On one hand feeling love is a great thing but losing it is the worst. Would you rather be numb to that feeling all together and stay at a plateau of minor happiness, or would you rather be really happy and know that misery is soon to come. I rather state at a constant state of happiness or minor happiness anyways.

The experience of love is one that cannot be transmitted to others. When it works, it is the greatest thing in life. To love and then lose make us aware of possibilities, made me realize how much I want and need love. The awareness of possibilities made me properly value success, and allowed me to tolerate risks.

As have I a few times. Over time you do get over it and move on. Looking back, it's good to know that somebody saw something special in you and vice versa. You learn from the experience and grow from it. And always remember the good times if you can.

It's better to know love and know the suffering of losing love than to spend your life wondering the joys and pain you've been deprived of.

getting cheated on or having someone die, sucks!
I'd rather live my life wondering what love feels like rather than having to be in pain never getting over what happened to have made me lost the love.
