There are plenty of intelligent people out there who lack in character- or "good".
I'd rather be called good than intelligent. Character goes further.

A person can be both intelligent and good. Eventhough I'm good I preferred to be called intelligent, it's ok as long as I know to myself that I'am good I dont need to please everybody for them to see that I'm good. Just so pleasing for me to hear that I'am intelligent it gives me more confidence and the power to interact with other people. :)

I'd rather be called "good". At the end of life, how kind you've been to others and how you've contributed to others' well being is the only thing that really matters. It's also the only thing that's eulogized, from what I've ever seen at funerals.
