Actually both.
I prefer to just not be around people, that way they can bother someone else and I can do what I want.
I make up for being shy by being overly confident at times, how about you ?

I'm quite shy in person. Probably not *as* antisocial as I have imagined, or I wouldn't be hanging out here with what seem like 1000'sof ppl.
