You will probably be told to sign up primarily for your general education classes. If there are any time slots left over, you may have some options so that you could start to take a few classes in areas you might find interesting and which may eventually become your major.

I assume you are a freshman or a transfer going to orientation. Read the orientation instructions.

Whatever you do, don't let the Davis campus turn you into a big flaming liberal. Davis has a lot of faculty like that.
