War is never the answer. It's only a temporary change. We the people must change, or war may well be the result. I have heard it said that if all the presidents were locked in a room until they came to a solution, there would be no more war. The implication is that they are actually cowards who send others to do their bidding, while not having to suffer the consequences themselves. War cannot happen without our consent. So we must make every effort to find solutions to our conflicts, despite our desire come out "on top." Life is cooperative negotiation, whether it's on the personal, societal, or international scale.

Under what basis do you think that a 3rd world war will be fought between countries? Im afraid you might be disregrading a very important factor: terrorism. The world will be at war with terrorism. And yes this might crumble US economy. But overall, a untied world against a few "terrorism-friendly" countries...A untied world will win...

Fine as long as it is fought between the Bush Admin and family and the Bin Laden and Saud families on deserted island. then we nuke it and the world wins. other than that NO. the death toll would be in the billions, and the earth would take a thousand years to recover if at all.

Well the first WW ended the depression and the second was a boost after we "were neutral" and the US has way too many allies to be beat, not to mention the oceans surrounding us and how many of the islands around us we own. a b-52 can only go so far without re-fueling

There is no power on this planet that could prevail against the US if we were serious so it is utter nonsense to say we might get knocked off our high horse. You are delusional if you think anybody could invade the US. It is astonishing how ignorant some people actually are about such a basic reality.

Wake up and smell the coffee Sweetheart...we ARE in WW3.
It is only the uninformed and the ignorant that don't yet understand that.
And BTW, you had better pray America - and her allies - win, lady, because your life will get one whole hell of a lot worse if the Islama-facists prevail.
Wise up!

I don't think any country would be safe If WW III occurs. Many countries have N. weapons now and they won't Hesitate to use it. In the past when USA wanted a quick relief from Japan, they used the ultimate weapon they had.
You won't have anywhere to go because everything would be destroyed.

No. But I've heard that Bush plans to sacrifice the nuclear aircraft carrier--the USS Enterprise--by attacking it with a pre-planned missile strike by one of our own subs in the Persian Gulf.

Just to make it look like Iran did it.
