Bush and Cheney have since confronted the terrorists - how come the democrats are still acting so stupid?
And, for what it's worth - NORAD never tracked commercial flights within our borders. It was set up as a bi-national (US and Canada) early alert system to warn of planes approaching the coast of North America. Don't buy into the conspiracy lunacy - NORAD wasn't even networked to the FAA at the time. On Sept. 11, NORAD was first notified at 8:40AM - just 6 minutes before the first plane bashed into the World Trade Center. Cheney might as well have shut Disneyland down for all of the good it would have done to allegedly prevent the tracking of these flights.
What would you have had Bush doing? Perhaps he could have braced himself at the base of the WTC and prevented its collapse?

Bush could've listened to the warnings of the Clinton administration instead of doing nothing for 6 months.
Also, if you're the President, and the nation is under attack, you DO NOT stay in a classroom filled with young school children knowing the terrorist's might be aware of your location and attack the school.
