I am a guess-timated 7 weeks pregnant (I was on the pill, but last "period" was very light).. I have my first appointment Wednesday with a nurse, for history and any needed bloodwork. My first doctors appointment isn't until September 5th!!! Does this sound right? This is baby #3, but we have moved to a new state- in NC they didn't make you wait that long, especially with a possible different conception date. What do you think?

Oh, nevermind, I erased my first response.. Haha..
I didn't realize you had the first appt with the nurses on this Wednesday..

But yes, that sounds about right.

You'll have appointments every 4 weeks until you're about 25+ weeks (then maybe they'll go down to every 3 weeks)

Your first appointment is when they have you get your blood work done at 8 weeks, which is what you are having done with the nurse. Then you go back 4 weeks after that. Yes, it sounds right. The first few months not much goes on at these appointments.

well they could very well do a ultrasound to see how the baby is measuring if you arent sure while you are there wednesday. so i could see how your appt wouldnt be until september 5th. i had to wait 6 weeks after i found out i was pregnant before i could get in to the dr at all!

Yes that seems a little far away to me. If it was 2-3 weeks then it would be diff but all the way in sept no this is to far maybe you should look into finding a new OBGYN.
