Do some monitors transmit the images faster then others?

Well, it depends on the monitor. The best port to transfer picture from the desktop to the monitor is the DVI. Some new brand monitors may have this port. They also have VGA port, which is analog. DVI is digital. So it's more powerful than analog thing.

Good Luck,

It could be the refresh rate setting on your display properties.

It could be the video card; if it is on board video, it shares your system RAM. When you have a memory intensive operation running, the video will refresh slower and the operation will take longer to complete.

It is best to install a separate video card with as much video ram as you can afford if you are running heavey duty graphics such multi layered Auto CAD or video intensive video games.

A graphics card with 256MB of RAM would be a great improvement.

Good Luck
