Like start a world wide petition to the UK to stop helping the US. and other countries that have a meager following at best. The coalition of the willing.

It wouldn't be more beneficial because governments are not required to concern themselves with things like petitions. Signing one might be a nice gesture, but it won't really amount to anything.
