my parents found out i was gay, and being the super religious people they are, freaked out, i had 2 exorcisms, and they tried to send me to straight camp. Ive never gotten over it, and to this day i still dont have much of a relationship with my parents or anyone else in my family. It is the biggest loss i have ever suffered and the most traumatic experience.

...my son and I were caught on the interstate in the North Country of New Hampshire in the middle of a blizzard and all vehicles were stopped and not moving....there had been a wreck a few miles ahead and it took some time (over 2 hours) to clear the wreck and snow for others to go on....we were low on gas, and it was around 10 degrees F....I had to keep turning the car on and off just to heat it up for a time, then shut it off again so I wouldn't run out of fuel...

Being engaged to a guy who didn't really like anything about me except the you-know-what. Nothing ELSE I did was right. I left. In his car. hehehe he did get it back eventually.
