I had written a fan letter to Michael Landon when he was doing the angel show. I got back an autographed picture which is pretty usual, but it was in a big envelope along with a letter which was signed by him. I saved that because I always thought a lot of him as an actor and as a person. When he died, I cried the same as I would for a family member. They say the good die young and in his case-that was totally true.

yes i truly did love the shows and what a legacy he left that his children carry on to this day . I think he was the one that started Melissa Gilbert on her career . from that show half of the actors are passed such as the dr. ,mrs oleson ,. it is sad . good luck .

I don't know how much you loved him. But I also loved him and still miss him. But what a legacy he has left. And his youngest daughter, Jennifer, is Gwen on the daytime soap, "As The World Turns."
