Those are only two possibilities. She was involved with other people too - including the Mafia. It is also possible it was an accidental overdose. Nobody will ever really know the answer to that question. The crime scene was way too tainted from the beginning and too many things were covered up. Once Peter Lawford died, all the major players except Ethel Kennedy were gone, and I doubt she knows much, if anything. No, I do not think Bobby Kennedy hired anyone to kill her. I dont think that the Kennedys directly contributed toward her death.

Marilyn was attracted by strong powerful men such as J.F.K and his younger brother bobby. And they gained from her attraction - sexual no doubt.

However, both J.F.K and Bobby were aware that accusations of infidelity and dangerous liasons could ruin the Presidential campaigns of 1964 for both men. And Hoover of the FBI could blackmail the kennedy's publicly with knowledge of the Kennedys and Marilyn.

So when the Kennedy's broke off contact with Marilyn, Marilyn was so despondent that she turned to drugs - i believe it was the depression that killed marilyn.

At the same time, Marilyn's movie career was going down hill as she was failing to turn up for shooting sessions - the kennedy's were the only credibility she had.

I wouldnt be surprised if Marilyn Monroe was pregnant with bobby kennedy's baby.

I have always believed she was killed by an enema full of drugs she had called Peter Lawford JFK (brother-in-law) earlier and I think he knew she was about to discredit both Bobby and JFK.
Her diary was never found and there was certainly some kind of cover up.
I also believe in karma and they certainly got theirs a few years down the track both dying violent deaths.
Another interesting thing is Joe Di Maggio banned the Kennedy family including Peter Lawford from her funeral.

Officially she committed suicide. However, much evidence suggests otherwise and it is theorized that one of the Kennedys, possibility Joe, the father of JFK and Bobby, had her killed because of her affairs with them.

We probably won't ever know the truth.

The problem with proving anything like that is that she did have problems or was famous in some circles with alcohol and prescription drug abuse. Being unreliable because of her additictions even got her fired from a movie once. She wasn't the first to die like that nor the last. Judy Garland went the same way if I remember correctly?

Marilyn Monroe had serious emotional problems and was addicted to many drugs. Her life style makes it difficult to prove how she died. There will probably always be controversy around her death, but unless someone confesses, it will probably never be known. Puzzles like this drive me crazy, but I don't know how to solve it.

One of the two of them, I think Bobby, had seen her that last night. I feel sure that Rbt did her in--or had one of their Mafia buddies (from the last election of JKF). She was endandering their public imagine--e.g., her birthday song to JKF! I think she had too much against them to commit suicide!
