It has happened, but what's worse is when they give your kids their "spin" on what went wrong in the marriage. Poor kid thinks he's got a saint for a father.

You have the right to say, stop this has moved away from the topic of the children. Lets get back to them... Then move the conversation elsewhere. You are not married anymore, and he doesnt have the right to air this everytime. The kids are, more than likley, listening. Do you really want them to hear this everytime that you talk to the ex...

Making sure your ex knows what you will and what you won't tolerate isn't always easy. Once you have made your limits known... stick to them. Do not devaite as this will only encourage your ex to push and push. Explain that you only wish to discuss matters regarding the child(ren) and nothing more. Keep it business like and it will eliminate a lot of unwanted conversation.

He used to, but I solved it right quick. I just quit talking to him at all. Worked like a charm!

No. My ex knows I wouldn't tolerate that and would rip his *** until there is nothing left of it.
